Job description

A growing indoor attraction park in Orlando is seeking a highly creative, trend-savvy, and hands-on Social Media Manager to lead the park's digital presence across all social media platforms. This role is responsible for developing and executing engaging content strategies that drive brand awareness, increase audience engagement, promote attractions and events, and strengthen the park's reputation as one of Orlando's most unique entertainment destinations.
The ideal candidate lives and breathes social media, understands internet culture, knows how to capture viral moments in real time, and can seamlessly blend content creation, photography, videography, community engagement, and analytics into one cohesive digital strategy.
This position requires someone who is highly organized, innovative, self-motivated, and capable of balancing both creative storytelling and strategic marketing initiatives in a fast-paced entertainment environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Management
  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms
  • Build and maintain the park's brand voice across all social channels
  • Create and manage monthly social media calendars aligned with promotions, events, attractions, partnerships, and seasonal campaigns
  • Increase follower growth, engagement, reach, impressions, and conversion metrics through strategic content planning
  • Monitor platform trends, algorithm updates, trending audio, and viral content opportunities to keep the park culturally relevant and competitive
  • Develop innovative campaigns designed to increase ticket sales, attraction awareness, corporate events, birthday bookings, and tourism visibility
  • Collaborate with internal departments to promote attractions, food & beverage offerings, events, car museum features, arcade experiences, and special activations

Content Creation
  • Capture high-quality photo and video content throughout the park
  • Produce engaging short-form video content for TikTok, Facebook & Instagram Reels, & YouTube Shorts
  • Edit and produce dynamic social-first content optimized for each platform
  • Create graphics, motion graphics, stories, thumbnails, promotional assets, and digital advertisements
  • Ensure all content reflects the energy, personality, and scale of the park's brand
  • Maintain consistent visual identity and content quality across all channels

Community Engagement & Brand Reputation
  • Engage with followers through comments, direct messages, reposts, tags, and community interaction
  • Monitor online reviews, social mentions, hashtags, and trending conversations related to the park
  • Respond professionally and appropriately to customer inquiries and online feedback
  • Help manage online reputation by addressing guest concerns and amplifying positive guest experiences
  • Build relationships with influencers, media partners, local businesses, tenants, partners, and brand ambassadors
  • Identify user-generated content opportunities and coordinate repost permissions

Analytics
  • Analyze social media performance metrics and campaign effectiveness using platform analytics and third-party tools
  • Establish KPIs for engagement, reach, conversion, ticket sales, follower growth, and campaign performance
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports with insights, recommendations, and strategic improvements
  • Track ROI organic social campaigns
  • Use analytics to optimize posting schedules, content performance, and audience targeting

Photography & Videography
  • Serve as the primary in-house content creator for photography and video production
  • Capture promotional photography for attractions, events, food offerings, corporate events, and park experiences
  • Coordinate content shoots with internal departments, talent, vendors, influencers, and partners
  • Assist with media day preparation, influencer visits, and PR opportunities

Additional Responsibilities
  • Assist with website content updates and digital marketing initiatives as needed
  • Support public relations efforts with social-friendly assets and media materials
  • Attend marketing meetings and contribute creative campaign ideas
  • Stay informed on entertainment and social media industry trends
  • Occasionally assist with graphic design, promotional materials, email campaigns, and advertising support

Qualifications
  • 4+ years of professional social media management, or content creation experience preferred
  • Experience managing business social media accounts with proven audience growth and engagement success
  • Strong photography and videography skills required
  • Experience creating viral or high-performing short-form content strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, CapCut, PicsArt, and similar editing software
  • Strong understanding of social media algorithms, analytics, and platform best practices
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced entertainment environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally with multiple departments
  • Experience with Meta Business Suite, TikTok Creator Tools, scheduling platforms, and content management tools preferred
  • Must be comfortable appearing on camera when needed for content creation
  • Must bring creative energy, initiative, and a proactive mindset

Preferred Skills
  • Graphic design experience
  • Experience working in entertainment, tourism, hospitality, theme parks, or attractions industries
  • Basic understanding of paid social advertising campaigns
  • Experience working with influencers and content partnerships
  • Knowledge Microsoft softwares, WeTransfer, Dropbox, and collaborative cloud systems

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the park for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and transport photography/video equipment when necessary
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
