Job description

Professional Mover – Leadership Opportunity

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Flexible, with availability based on customer demand
Career Path: Mover → Lead Mover → Crew Leader

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, professional mover to join our growing team.

This is not just a job for someone who can lift furniture. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up on time, communicates well, treats customers and coworkers with respect, and takes responsibility for the job from start to finish.

The right person will have the opportunity to grow into a Lead Mover and eventually a Crew Leader, helping train and lead a team of up to 10 employees.

Responsibilities

  • Safely move, load, unload, wrap, and protect furniture and household/business items.
  • Protect customers' homes, floors, walls, doors, and belongings.
  • Arrive on time and ready to work.
  • Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and management.
  • Follow instructions and company procedures.
  • Keep trucks, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
  • Identify potential problems and communicate them before they become bigger issues.
  • Help teammates and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Represent the company professionally on every job.
  • Take ownership of your work and be accountable for your actions.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Reliable personal vehicle.
  • Strong and physically capable of performing moving work.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Flexible availability.
  • Professional and respectful attitude.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and improve.

Moving experience is a plus, but not required for the right person.

We care more about work ethic, reliability, attitude, and character than having years of moving experience.

What We Look For

Our ideal candidate is someone who:

  • Shows up on time, every time.
  • Does what they say they're going to do.
  • Doesn't need to be constantly reminded to work.
  • Takes responsibility instead of making excuses.
  • Treats customers' belongings as if they were their own.
  • Is respectful even when the job gets stressful.
  • Can take direction and constructive criticism.
  • Notices details and takes pride in doing things correctly.
  • Helps their teammates succeed.
  • Wants to grow and take on more responsibility.

Leadership Opportunity

We're building a team where great employees can grow into leadership positions.

If you consistently demonstrate reliability, professionalism, strong work performance, and leadership ability, you can earn the opportunity to become a Lead Mover and eventually a Crew Leader.

A Crew Leader will be expected to:

  • Lead by example.
  • Keep the crew organized and productive.
  • Train newer team members.
  • Communicate clearly with customers and employees.
  • Maintain company quality and safety standards.
  • Handle problems professionally.
  • Take responsibility for the crew and the job.
  • Help create a team culture based on accountability, respect, and hard work.

We are looking for future leaders, not just employees.

Why Join Us?

  • Flexible scheduling.
  • Opportunity for advancement.
  • Leadership development.
  • Work with a team that values professionalism and accountability.
  • Opportunity to earn greater responsibility as you prove yourself.
  • No two days are exactly the same.

Our Standard

We believe that being a great mover comes down to five things:

Show up. Work hard. Communicate. Take care of people. Take responsibility.

If those values describe you, we'd like to meet you.

Apply today and tell us why you would be a great addition to our team.
