Job Description:

The Senior Graphic Designer will play a critical role in shaping Orascoptic's visual brand identity across multiple channels. This role combines creative vision with hands-on design execution to produce high-impact digital and print assets. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, strong collaborator, and detail-oriented designer with proven experience in developing brand systems and campaigns that resonate globally.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Lead creative direction to ensure visual consistency across all brand touchpoints.
  • Maintain and evolve Orascoptic's visual identity guidelines.
  • Design digital assets for web, social media, paid media, and email marketing.
  • Produce print collateral including brochures, catalogs, packaging, and trade show materials.
  • Develop creative concepts and templates for product launches, global campaigns, and internal initiatives.
  • Partner with all members of the marketing and sales team to translate business goals into compelling creative solutions.
  • Work closely with external vendors, printers, and agencies when needed.
  • Contribute to the creative strategy of the marketing team with a senior-level perspective.
  • Keep informed on graphic design and visual media trends.
  • Coordinates the production process; develops and writes printing and/or other production specifications, and selects appropriate production media and materials, such as ink and paper; inspects proofs for accuracy and adherence to appropriate production standards.
  • Coordinate a graphics or photographic library and/or maintain digital records.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gain regulatory and/or legal approval when necessary for specific marketing content.

Job Requirements:

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects).
    • Strong portfolio showcasing brand development, digital campaigns, and print design.
    • Experience with photography direction, video editing, or motion graphics a plus.
    • Knowledge of HTML/CSS or web design best practices a plus.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present and defend creative concepts.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or related field and 5+ years of professional design experience or 2-year technical degree and 7+ years of professional design experience.

    • Possess strong conceptual skills, high level sense of design, layout and typography, a broad thinker who can offer a variety of design solutions.
    • Ability to develop complex, integrated design, printing, and/or reproduction specifications.
    • Knowledge of printing/reproduction processes and techniques, publication, and associated resources.
    • Pre- and post-production quality checks.
    • Knowledge of graphic layout and photographic requirements and procedures.
    • Web design with working knowledge of web programming languages.
    • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

    Target Market Salary Range:

    Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
