Full Time / On‑Site Security Clearance Active Top Secret / SCI required Years of Experience 5+ years Salary Range $140,000 – $155,000 Work Schedule
Rotating 12‑hour shifts
Nights, weekends, and off‑shift coverage required
Position may transition to 24×7 operational coverage based on mission needs Job Summary The Network & Mission Operations Shift Lead reports to the Global Operations Lead and provides oversight and management of Global Operations activities. This role ensures continuous operational availability, mission effectiveness, and accurate system status reporting across enterprise systems under operational control. The position supports mission systems, command and control (C2), and information‑sharing environments while maintaining situational awareness and coordinating with regional and command center leadership. Key Responsibilities
Direct day‑to‑day Global Operations activities to ensure system availability, performance, and security
Maintain real‑time awareness of system and network health and communicate operational status to leadership
Collaborate with Regional CWO and Command Center leadership to ensure coordinated execution
Ensure operational reports are accurate, complete, and delivered on time to program and customer leadership
Recommend and coordinate appropriate courses of action in response to system or network issues
Preserve operational integrity by ensuring personnel are trained, certified, and mission‑ready
Manage shift staffing and verify proper manning levels
Conduct detailed shift change briefings to ensure continuity of operations
Support rotating 12‑hour shift coverage, including nights, weekends, and off‑shift substitutions
Perform additional related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Strong verbal and presentation communication skills
Experience in project management, planning, and resource management
Experience leading personnel in operations or maintenance of large‑scale computer, communications, or networking environments
Knowledge of enterprise networks, systems, and cyber defense capabilities
Ability to brief technical system and network issues using tools such as Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint
Experience developing or directing Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and/or Operating Instructions (OIs)
Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams
Experience working in Agile environments and using JIRA
Physical Demands
Ability to remain seated for extended periods
Regular use of computer, keyboard, and office equipment
Effective verbal and electronic communication
Occasional movement within the office to access equipment or meeting spaces
Ability to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
Vision abilities including close vision and focus adjustment
