Job description

Hourly Rate: $23

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and callers, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience. This role is responsible for managing front desk operations, answering and directing phone calls, handling correspondence, and supporting administrative and clerical functions. This position also assists with various administrative tasks and performs additional duties as assigned to support daily business operations.

An Average Day: 
(Includes, but not limited to)

  • Welcome guests and callers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering, directing and screening inquiries appropriately
  •  Compose, type and edit correspondence, reports and other materials
  • Assist with clerical and administrative tasks, as needed
  • Ensure reception area is clean and organized Schedule meetings in multiple conference rooms, as needed
  • Receive incoming faxes and distribute immediately in a discretionary manner
  • Send faxes as required/requested
  • Train staff for back-up coverage on telephone system, as needed
  •  Maintain computer and printer in reception area
  •  Responsible for other duties, as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements: 

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have at least 4 years of experience as a receptionist
  • Must be able to type 50 words per minute 
  • Must have proficient word processing skills 
  • Must have excellent personal computer skills
  • Must have business machine knowledge
  • Must possess the willingness to maintain comprehensive working knowledge regarding information systems and applicable software programs
  • Must be flexible in work hours
