Registered Nurse- Emergency Department (36hrs./wk. Full-Time Benefits) Afternoons- Plymouth

Full-time Benefit Eligible

Schedule: 3-12 Hour Shifts from 11am-11:30pm; Weekend and holiday requirement

Location: Henry Ford Medical Center-Plymouth

Address: 40777 Ann Arbor Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170

Preferred experience: Minimum of 1+ years RN experience in Emergency or ICU setting.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

         Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

         Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.

         Health care provider certification (BCLS).
