Job description

We are committed to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement programs. The Assembler will work on fiber optic assembly of basic medical assembly and complex industrial assembly of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble fiber optic cable components according to established procedures and quality standards.
  • Operate tools and equipment to cut, strip, and terminate fiber optic cables.
  • Ensure that assembled cables meet quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair cables as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Communicate with supervisors and coworkers regarding production status and quality issues.

Qualifications/Experience/Education

  • Ability to read/follow and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with small parts.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Mid-level skillset on a flow-line.
  • Good communication skills and ability to precisely follow work instructions.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Proficient at reading and writing the English language.
