JOB DETAILS:
Position:Assembly Seibi Technician

Location:ONSITE - Georgetown, KY 40324
Pay Rate:$38.00 - $42.00 per hour (W2 Only)
** Must be LOCAL or willing to RELOCATE at your own expense**
** This is role is 100% ONSITE, no remote work offered**
Final Assembly Production Engineering Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Assembly Seibi Technician. They will be provide technical/skilled support to Assembly Final Assembly Engineering team. This includes design/drawing review, buyoff support, install/commissioning, and equipment start up support.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Review equipment specifications and design, identify improvements, conduct vendor buyoffs to confirm equipment functions,
Install equipment, verify safety, quality, and productivity of equipment.
Investigate to determine modification requirements. Implement modifications. Trial and adjust.
Lower cost and decrease project time by confirming safety, quality, and productivity of equipment at vendor, prior to installation. Minimize adjustment time during vehicle trials by performing quality trials at vendor.
Lower cost and decrease project time by overseeing installation by vendor, and facilitating Kanban process.
Improve equipment quality and productivity by implementing adjustments, as identified during online vehicle trials.
Confirm quality results by secondary method (Torque check, vacuum profiles, etc)
Install, setup and troubleshoot Toyopuc and Allen-Bradley program controllers
Provide training to Maintenance members on newly implemented equipment
Share Subject Matter Expert knowledge to local Maintenance and Production Members
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
2 years strong PLC programming/troubleshooting ( Toyopuc, Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, or Allen Bradley)
2 years comprehensive knowledge of PLC s
2 years knowledge of Electrical circuits and Industrial controls
Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings
EDUCATION: 2 year technical degree or completion of trade school program (EET or Industrial Maintenance Technology) and/or equivalent work experience.
Other Requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs on occasion
Ability to frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching on varying surfaces.
Manual dexterity to operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
Good vision and hand-eye coordination for detailed repairs.
Ability to work in various environments including hot, cold, or confined spaces
Stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work long shifts.
Other Requirements:
50% - Travel Domestic and International (Japan, Canada, Mexico)
20% - Overtime, works weekends, off shift, and holidays as needed
Will be required to wear Steel Toes shoes
DESIRED SKILLS:
2+ years Industrial maintenance experience
Knowledge of Industrial Robot programming and teaching
Knowledge of AGVs/AMRs programming and set up
Knowledge of safety scanners and programming.
Knowledge of various industrial controls networking, ETHERNET IP, FLNet, ProfiNet etc.
Automotive manufacturing experience.
