Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in vehicles or equipment

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations

  • Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment

  • Provide consultation on repair costs and work needed to be done

  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service history

  • Order parts from suppliers, as needed

  • Test vehicles and equipment to ensure repairs are successful and systems function properly

  • Communicate with customers or supervisors about repair needs, timelines, and costs

  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification preferred
