Job description

MOC Products Company Inc. is hiring a Material Handler.
Summary:Provide support to Portland Oregon warehouse by stocking items, pulling product, loading and unloading palletized and non-palletized freight,
The position of Material Handler will include, but not limited to the following:

  • Operate forklift in a safe manner.
  • Check and count to verify the quantities being received or pulled.
  • Make sure all the paperwork required is accurate.
  • Pick and complete sales and work orders as well as repair lists.
  • Transport parts and finished goods from warehouse to company trucks
  • Maintain a well-organized warehouse.
  • Communicate with department lead daily on changes and updates.
  • Conduct daily inspection of forklift, lift and pallet jack.
  • Responsible for machine repair and upkeep/cleaning
  • Conduct inventory count of warehouse
  • Coordinate transportation for weekly shipments
  • Receive and verify incoming shipments
All employees will receive the appropriate training prior to use any equipment and or machines.

Educations and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); one or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills:
  • Experience in warehouse operation, pulling orders.
  • Forklift driving or willingness to learn.
  • Ability to read/write and communicate comfortably in English.
  • Basic knowledge of math.
  • Basic knowledge of computes or willingness to learn.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
