General Description
Tolin Mechanical, an established, well recognized and respected HVAC service contractor, is looking for an experienced Material Handler to join our Denver Branch. We are seeking a candidate who meets the qualifications listed below.
This position requires someone who is self-motivated, professional, and a solid team player. The Material Handlers are responsible for performing tasks that support the logistics team and support the technicians in the field. Excellent communication skills, a hard-working attitude, and ability to follow and demonstrate safe practices are essential to success in this role.
Responsibilities for Material Handler
- Loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing materials and equipment
- Status reporting on all matters affecting service operations
- Use of assistive devices such as hoists and lifts
- Use of protective devices such as padding, and straps
- Ensuring a safe work environment
- Operation of company vehicles to deliver / pick up materials to and from field techs and other branches
- Securing building before and after business hours
- Supporting logistics team with other tasks as needed
- Internal relations and collaboration with other teams
Compensation & Benefits
Average Starting Wage: $20.50 to 21.50/hr. Combined experience, education, skills and knowledge will be taken into consideration.

Requirements
Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications
- Willingness to work flexible hours and long distance driving in the mountains
- Ability to drive defensively
- Material handling experience
- Knowledge of Denver metro area
- Experience and demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal departments, vendors, and customers
- Certification to operate a forklift
Minimum Qualifications
- Over 18 years of age
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to bend and lift up to 50lbs
- Strong written and verbal English skills
- Valid driver's license with driving record in good standing
