Job description

Position Summary


DCC Propane is seeking a motivated and organized Marketing Coordinator to join our growing marketing team. This role is ideal for someone early in their marketing career who is eager to gain broad exposure across marketing, communications, customer engagement, digital content, events, and project coordination.

The successful candidate will work closely with leaders across Sales, Operations, Customer Experience, and Marketing to support business growth initiatives and customer communications. This position offers significant opportunities for professional development and is intended to serve as a foundation for expanded responsibilities and future leadership opportunities as the organization continues to grow.

The role is designed for someone who is eager to build a long-term marketing career and take on progressively broader responsibilities as they gain experience and expertise. No two days will be the same. One day may involve coordinating a customer communication campaign, while the next could include supporting community events, updating website content, preparing marketing materials, or assisting with promotional programs.


Core Duties / Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing Campaign Support
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing marketing campaigns.
  • Support customer acquisition, retention, and brand awareness initiatives.
  • Help maintain marketing calendars and project schedules.
  • Content & Communications
  • Assist with the creation and review of marketing materials, customer communications, email campaigns, and promotional content.
  • Support content updates for websites, landing pages, and digital channels.
  • Ensure consistency with company branding standards.
  • Digital Marketing
  • Manage routine website updates and content maintenance.
  • Assist with social media scheduling and content coordination.
  • Support digital marketing initiatives and performance tracking.
  • Project Coordination
  • Coordinate marketing projects and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to gather information and support business initiatives.
  • Assist with vendor, printer, and agency communications.
  • Events & Community Engagement
  • Support trade shows, customer events, community programs, sponsorships, and local marketing activities.
  • Coordinate marketing materials and planning events.
  • Reporting & Administration
  • Compile campaign results and basic performance reporting.
  • Maintain marketing assets, promotional inventory, and resource libraries.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and marketing documents.
  • Provide administrative support to the Marketing team as needed.

Position Qualifications

Experience/Education

Required Education: Bachelors/undergraduate degree required in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Required Work Experience:

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, sales support, customer experience, or related field.
  • Experience with social media platforms and content management systems.
  • Familiarity with email marketing tools and basic digital marketing concepts.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Microsoft Applications: Advanced functionality in Word, Excel and Outlook

Additional Technology: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience with social media platforms and content management systems.
  • Familiarity with email marketing tools and basic digital marketing concepts.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
