Job description

Job Title: Manufacturing Technician C

Job Code: 36478

Job Location: Salt Lake City, Utah

Job Schedule: 9/80 Weekend Shift

Job Description:

This person will contribute to the company's success by manufactuing and testing on a variety of LRU (Line Replaceable Units), circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and components. This role will report directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor and is responsible for successfully manufacturing and tesing L3Harris products for delivery or repair.

Essential Functions:

  • Manufactures electromechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies, including circuit cards, cable/harnesses, and various other electronic products while ensuring compliance with required performance specifications.
  • Ability in multiple electronics manufacturing processes, including component level soldering, torque tools, and ESD practices.
  • Sets up a variety of manufacturing apparatus, and completes assembly following methods, procedures, standards, and operations sequences.
  • Ability to work from both oral and written instructions, engineering drawings, and blueprints.
  • Able to work in both team and individual contributor roles, with minimal supervision.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities in both test and manufacturing.
  • Support OT (nights, weekends, extended hours) as needed to meet schedule requirements and business needs.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 2 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft suite and personal computing devises.
  • Proficient in component level soldering.
  • Knowledge performing functional testing of electromechanical assemblies.
  • Active/Current IPC/J-STD certification.
