  • We seek progress: We learn from everything we do and move with speed and agility to innovate, evolve and adapt as necessary to maximize impact.

For the health and well-being of our valued employees, we offer a competitive and comprehensive benefits package including medical insurance with a company HSA contribution, paid short-term and long-term disability, a 401(k) plan with company contribution, paid holidays, paid time off (PTO) and more.

Typical Duties of a Manufacturing Supervisor

  • Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost goals.
  • Maintain a visible presence on the production floor, providing direction, removing barriers, and supporting accountability and teamwork.
  • Coach, train, and develop team members through performance feedback, cross-training, career development, and corrective action when needed.
  • Conduct daily huddles and team meetings to communicate priorities, expectations, safety requirements, and business objectives.
  • Plan and monitor daily and weekly production activities to meet customer commitments and department goals.
  • Monitor operational performance and address issues related to safety, quality, staffing, equipment, materials, or schedule attainment.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing, skills coverage, equipment, tooling, materials, and documentation are available for efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with Planning, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and other teams to resolve challenges and improve performance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, throughput, employee engagement, and profitability.
  • Establish and improve standardized work practices, processes, and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment while ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Support capacity, workforce, and resource planning for current and future business needs.
  • Provide operational input for quotations, process development, manufacturability reviews, capital equipment decisions, and other business opportunities.
  • Communicate departmental performance, priorities, risks, and improvement opportunities to leadership.
  • Promote a culture of ownership, respect, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications for a Manufacturing Supervisor

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered a substitute.
  • 5+ years previous experience in a manufacturing environment is required, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team to achieve production goals.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members, management, and other departments.
  • Strong conflict resolution and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive team dynamics.
  • Highly proficient in the use of technology tools including MS Office Products and MRP/ERP systems such as Epicor.

Flexible Work Schedule

The typical schedule would be Monday - Friday from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm with some flexibility. This position typically requires 40-45+ hours a week in the office to be successful. Due to the hands‑on nature of manufacturing routine remote work is not an option in this role.
