  • Apply basic knowledge of Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW).
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of Oxy-Fuel Cutting, Carbon Arc Cutting, and Plasma Arc Cutting.

  • Basic understanding of weld symbols, welding positions, and blueprint reading.
  • General knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the welding field.
  • Awareness of material differences, including carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.

Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional travel may be required.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk, occasionally stoop, kneel and/or climb; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
