The Impact You'll Make
Danfoss in Easley, SC is seeking a 1st shift Assembler to oversee the complete assembly process within a designated cell, from initial setup through final testing. This role operates Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with opportunities for overtime.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Load and position valves into assembly fixtures with precision. Transport valves to designated workstations efficiently.
  • Ensure production targets are consistently achieved. Immediately notify the supervisor of any assembly supply shortages.
  • Carefully interpret and adhere to instructions from engineering blueprints, work instructions, and Engineering Test Orders.
  • Skillfully operate assembly and torque tools. Inspect defective valves and conduct repairs to meet required specifications.

What We're Looking For
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Candidates should demonstrate basic math proficiency and strong reading and writing skills.
  • The role requires the ability to stand for extended periods and frequently lift up to 50 lbs. good motor skills are essential.
  • Mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes are necessary. Experience with TPM and SMED methodologies is preferred.
  • Familiarity with quality and problem-solving tools such as PPAP, capability studies, PFMEA, Gauge R&R, 4-Step, 8D, and Fishbone diagrams is expected.
