Position Title: Manufacturing Software Engineer
Position Location: 35 Medford St., Somerville, MA 02143
Duties: Develop and maintain advanced software tools to support calibration, validation, and rigorous testing of electromechanical and robotic systems across our product lines. Manage requirements and set expectations with cross-functional teams, including hardware, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to deliver testingsolutions successfully and on time. Perform hardware modifications to printers and test setups to facilitate experimental processes. Own the full lifecycle of the test tools ecosystem, including design, validation, documentation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. Use data science to analyze production lines and provide insights to the operations organization. Continuously improve our development and deployment processes to streamline software releases across our global factories.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field and two years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Must have two years of experience in each of the following: understanding of software integration with embedded systems; using command-line tools and SSH for Linux system development; proficient in Python, SQL, and Linux; and demonstrated experience applying specialized technical knowledge to develop, test, and maintain software tools for robotics, electromechanical, or manufacturing systems.
Offered Wage: $110,000 - $140,000/year.
