Job description

Corvid's Missile Defense Products group is adding experienced Software Engineers to support the development of Fire Control software for weapons systems. The role will focus on developing (and testing) algorithms and capabilities that can be integrated into existing architecture that evaluates and manages the situational awareness for Missile Defense Systems.

Some key responsibilities will include:

  • Extensive development efforts in a variety of languages including C++, Java and/or Ada
  • Develop, present and execute complex work requirements related to software
  • Support DevSecOps to ensure robust, secure and stable software is deployed into the system

Requirements:

  • Candidate must be a US Citizen and be eligible to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance
  • Position requires a Bachelor's Degree in related STEM discipline and at least 5 years of relevant development experience (Advanced Degrees may substitute for experience)
  • Demonstrated experience developing one or more of the following: C++, Ada, and Java

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Linux, scripting, and/or operations
  • Ability to use MATLAB and Python for development and analysis
  • Advanced degree in Physics or Math (or strong foundation in either)
  • DevSecOps tools and methods (Jenkins, Ansible, Git/Gitlab) of continuous integration/continuous delivery and deployment (CI/CD) automation
