Del Webb Bayview, located in Parrish, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Front Desk Weekend/Evening Concierge! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fastpaced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.  
 
Overview:
The Front Desk Weekend/Evening Concierge provides assistance to guests and serves as an information source during their stay.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Promotes resort’s facilities and area attractions.
  • Serves as a local information source for guests.
  • Provides information about special events within the resort and the surrounding area.
  • Maintains adequate supply of brochure rack items in a clean, well-organized manner.
  • Answers all incoming calls to the guest service desk.
  • Assists guests with various services such as making dining reservations, ordering flowers wine, or gift baskets, coordinating car and limousine service, making or changing airline reservations, providing directions, and other special arrangements.
  • Assists guests with questions and concerns, makes suggestions and identifies possible solutions.
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as required.
Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands:
  • Frequently sits, talks and hears.
  • Occasionally stands and walks.
  • Regularly uses hands, reaches with arms and hands.
  • Occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds.
Environment/Noise:
  • Noise level is moderate.
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:
  • Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
  • Ability to use internet.
