Join the Sunset/Ocean Park Healthcare Center Team! We Are Hiring a Receptionist!

Sunset and Ocean Park Healthcare Centers are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our residents and their families. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and reliable Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our facility and help create a welcoming, professional environment for all who enter.

The position of Receptionist reports to the Activities Director.

Schedule:

Saturday – Sunday
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

JOB DUTIES:

  • Greet and assist visitors, residents, and family members in a professional and welcoming manner

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and accurately

  • Maintain front desk operations and ensure the reception area remains clean and organized

  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries

  • Assist with visitor sign-in procedures and maintain accurate logs

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to multiple departments

  • Support communication between departments as needed

DUTIES CONTINUED:

  • Respond to general inquiries and provide basic facility information

  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating appointments or meetings as needed

  • Monitor lobby activity to ensure safety and security

  • Support Activities Department with administrative tasks as assigned

  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Previous receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience preferred

  • Experience in healthcare or skilled nursing is a plus

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment

  • Must be dependable, punctual, and consistent with attendance — this role is critical to daily operations and requires strong reliability
