Job description

1. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on plating machinery, tanks, rectifiers, and other equipment according to established schedules and maintenance procedures.
2. Assist in diagnosing equipment malfunctions and participate in troubleshooting efforts to identify root causes of issues.
3. Perform basic repairs and adjustments on plating equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and maintenance standards.
4. Collaborate with Maintenance Technician I and III to support their development and enhance the efficiency of maintenance activities.
5. Assist in equipment installations, disassembly, and assembly tasks as required by the maintenance team.
6. Help maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and inventory records.
7. Participate in training sessions and workshops to further develop technical skills and stay current with industry best practices.
8. Support senior technicians in identifying opportunities for equipment upgrades, modifications, or enhancements to improve efficiency and safety.
9. Comply with all safety guidelines and protocols to create a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
10. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the maintenance workshop, ensuring that tools and equipment are properly stored and in good working condition.

    The majority of work is performed in shop conditions.
