Job description

· Manage and monitor Microsoft 365 services and desktop support (Laptops)

· Formulate and create Office 365 SharePoint / Teams sites for domain users and external client access

· Administer and support Microsoft 365 Azure and Exchange policies

· Ensure corporate network systems are compliant

· Maintain a highly secure system through proper configuration and system access monitoring

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues with user access to cloud services

· Establish and maintain site / folder/ file permissions. Develop scripts to monitor file modifications and alert site owners of any changes

· Deliver a consistent process for incident and problem escalation along with resolution

· Assist with the creation of policies around the proper use of Office 365 services and support.

· Define and document best practices and support procedures

· Responsible for support of Windows Server 2008r2 through 2019 along with Windows 7, 8 and 10 Professional.

· Working knowledge of VM Ware and virtual server configurations

· Monitor and support server backups, virus protection, IAVA Compliance and patch management.

· LAN Routing and Switching design, configuration and troubleshooting (VLANs, IP Subnetting, 802.1Q trunks)

· Monitor, analyze, and resolve problems that occur in the corporate network.

· Coordinate and summarize reporting of security notice compliancy.

· Be proficient with DNS, WINS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.

· Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend maintenance

· Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation

· Evaluate vendor hardware, firewall, telecom and software and summarize recommendation

· Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

·  2- 6 years of IT system and network administration

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related area) preferred.

· Possess professional IT training and certifications to include:

· A+ Certification required

· Net+ Certification required

· Security + Certification required

· Microsoft Certification preferred

· Progressive experience in a technical help desk or a customer service environment

· Proven Microsoft 365 administration experience

· Experience with Azure AD and Exchange

· Microsoft 365 SharePoint Administrator experience

· Exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

· Proficient knowledge of Windows operating systems

· Strong communication and documentation skills

· Technical documentation and use of all Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, etc.)

· Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment

· Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently
