Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Specialist with expertise in CICS and WebSphere troubleshooting to support enterprise-level performance and monitoring activities. The role involves analyzing and debugging issues across CICS, DB2, MQ, and WebSphere environments, performing dump analysis, and providing innovative solutions to complex technical problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve CICS, WebSphere, DB2, and MQ performance issues.
  • Perform system dump analysis and provide recommendations.
  • Monitor 700+ CICS regions using tools like Omegamon, Tivoli, Introscope, Dynatrace, and ABEND Aid.
  • Analyze heap usage, garbage collection, CPU, EC3 abends, and backend performance.
  • Support incident response, system performance, and capacity management.
  • Document findings, resolutions, and update troubleshooting databases.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years in mainframe troubleshooting and performance management.
  • 2+ years with Tivoli Enterprise tools, DB2, and CICS region management.
  • Strong knowledge of CICS, WebSphere MQ/WAS, DB2, Z/OS, JES3, Top Secret.
  • Hands-on with monitoring tools (Omegamon, Introscope, Dynatrace, etc.).
  • Experience in COBOL, Java, or Assembly for CICS programming/debugging.
  • Ability to integrate and implement enterprise-wide technologies.
  • Must be eligible for Public Trust Clearance.
