What You'll Do:

As a CDL Tanker Driver with Blu Petroleum, you'll safely operate a commercial tanker vehicle while providing dependable, professional service to our customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Safely operate a CDL Class A or Class B tanker vehicle.
  • Transport and deliver fuel in accordance with company procedures and applicable DOT regulations.
  • Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Follow all company, DOT, Hazmat, tanker, and transportation safety requirements.
  • Maintain accurate delivery and transportation documentation.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service at delivery locations.
  • Identify and report vehicle, equipment, maintenance, or safety concerns.
  • Maintain a safe driving record and follow established routes and procedures.
  • Participate in the required weekend on-call rotation.
  • Maintain all licenses and endorsements required for the position.

Required Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Valid CDL Class A or Class B
  • Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience
  • Minimum 2 years of tanker driving experience
  • Valid Tanker Endorsement
  • Valid Hazmat Endorsement
  • Clean DMV record with no more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years
  • Acceptable motor vehicle accident history
  • Experience performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Strong understanding of DOT and transportation safety requirements
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Dependable and safety-focused work history
  • Ability to participate in a weekend on-call rotation
  • Ability to work varying start times based on assigned shift
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
