Logistics / Shipping Manager

Burlington / Colchester, VT Area


I'm partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization to identify a hands-on Logistics/Shipping Manager to lead shipping, receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations across multiple facilities.



Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
  • Manage logistics activities across two locations while ensuring efficient material flow.
  • Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, customs, and internal teams to support domestic and international shipments.
  • Lead, coach, develop, and mentor warehouse and shipping personnel.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.
  • Help manage budgets, inventory accuracy, warehouse layout, and operational performance.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable shipping, transportation, and warehouse regulations.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of logistics, shipping, warehouse, or supply chain leadership experience.
  • Experience with import/export documentation and international shipping.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation, distribution, inventory management, and ERP systems.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, improve processes, and drive operational results.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
