Job description

About Arena Club

Arena Club, co-founded by 5x World Series Champion Derek Jeter and entrepreneur Brian Lee, is revolutionizing the collectibles industry. We're home to the first-ever digital card show, where fans buy, sell, and showcase trading cards like never before. With transparent grading and authentication for cards, secure vaulting and a curated marketplace for watches, and personalized online showrooms, we're on a mission to make collecting more accessible, secure, and fun. Whether you collect cards, watches, or something in between, Arena Club is where passion meets innovation.

About the Role

We're looking for an Inbound Logistics Manager to lead our on-site receiving operation in Beaverton, OR. This role oversees the receipt of every product category that comes through our facility, including trading cards, watches, and future collectibles categories as we grow.

You'll manage a team of Receiving Associates dedicated to each product line, ensuring that every item that enters our facility is accounted for, inspected, and routed to the right next step. You'll be the connective tissue between our Buying team, our Operations team, and our shipping vendors, making sure expected product arrives in good condition, gets prioritized appropriately for upcoming site drops, and moves through our internal workflows without delay.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on building structure, developing people, and creating processes that scale. If you've led a receiving or warehouse team before and you're excited about doing it in a fast-moving collectibles environment, this role is for you.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead the Receiving Team: Manage Receiving Associates across all product lines, providing coaching, performance feedback, and day-to-day direction to keep the team productive and engaged.
  • Oversee Multi-Category Receiving: Own the end-to-end receiving process for trading cards, watches, and additional product categories as they are introduced.
  • Coordinate with the Buying Team: Confirm that all expected product is received, accounted for, and inspected for quality and condition. Communicate discrepancies, shortages, and damage issues clearly and quickly.
  • Partner with Operations: Relay status updates on what has been received and is ready for the next step, what is on hold for issues, what is outstanding, and what needs to be prioritized for specific product drops on the Arena Club site.
  • Coordinate with Finance: Partner with the Finance team on vendor payments, invoice reconciliation, and resolving billing discrepancies tied to inbound shipments.
  • Manage Vendor Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for shipping and receiving issues, claims, and questions with carriers and outside vendors.
  • Build and Improve Processes: Establish, document, and refine standard operating procedures for receiving across all product categories. Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements that increase accuracy and throughput.
  • Drive Accountability: Ensure receiving tasks are completed accurately and on time, with clear ownership so no product or issue falls through the cracks.
  • Report on Performance: Provide leadership with regular updates on inbound volume, exceptions, vendor performance, and team productivity.
What We're Looking For
  • Leadership Experience: Previous experience managing a team, with a track record of developing people and increasing productivity through strong leadership.
  • Logistics and Warehouse Background: Prior experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, and/or inventory management is required.
  • Multi-Product Oversight: Comfort and confidence overseeing receiving across multiple product lines with different handling requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple departments, both in person and remotely.
  • Process Builder: Experience building a department or function from the ground up and creating scalable processes is a strong plus.
  • Organized and Detail-Oriented: Able to manage competing priorities, track open items, and follow through to resolution.
  • Calm Under Pressure: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Tech Comfortable: Proficient with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, email) and able to learn new internal systems quickly.
  • Background Check: Must be able to pass a thorough background check.
Benefits
  • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Disability and Life Insurance
  • Vacation and Sick Time
  • Company matched 401(k) plan
  • Room for growth in a fast-growing startup
  • Work alongside passionate, innovative teammates
Apply Today!

If you're a hands-on leader who loves building teams, improving processes, and taking ownership of complex operations, we'd love to hear from you.
