Givens Logistics is seeking a customer-focused Logistics Coordinator to join our growing operations team. This position is responsible for supporting customer transportation needs, coordinating LTL shipments, resolving transportation issues, managing pricing requests, and ensuring exceptional service from pickup through delivery.

The ideal candidate has experience working in an LTL transportation environment and understands the importance of accuracy, communication, and building strong customer relationships. Experience with steamship lines, ports, or drayage operations is also valuable.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate LTL shipments from pickup through final delivery
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding shipment status, service issues, and transportation solutions
  • Prepare and manage LTL pricing and freight quotations
  • Resolve freight exceptions, billing discrepancies, service failures, and customer disputes
  • Communicate with customers, carriers, terminals, and internal operations to ensure on-time service
  • Monitor shipments and proactively communicate delays or service issues
  • Enter shipment information, pricing, documentation, and customer updates into the transportation management system (TMS)
  • Assist with carrier communication, documentation, and transportation compliance
  • Support operations, billing, and customer account management as needed
  • Maintain accurate shipment records and provide outstanding customer service throughout the transportation process
Qualifications
  • Experience in LTL transportation, freight brokerage, logistics coordination, customer service, or transportation operations
  • Strong understanding of LTL shipping, pricing, routing, and customer service
  • Experience resolving freight issues, service exceptions, billing discrepancies, or transportation disputes
  • Experience working with steamship lines, port operations, or drayage is a plus
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and transportation management systems (McLeod experience is a plus)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
