Job Title:

Arena Host

Pay Details:

The starting hourly rate for this position is $22.00 per hour.

Summary of Position

The Arena Host is an outgoing, charismatic, and energetic personality. This position will perform in front of large crowds and therefore must have a good public speaking presence, be able to improvise and think fast on their feet.

Responsibilities

  • Coordination with Game Ops Manager to follow Gulls in-game script.

  • Execution of on-ice promotions in an effective and time efficient matter.

  • Generate crowd excitement by creating an entertaining and electric atmosphere during promotions.

  • Various duties as assigned by Gulls management.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills

  • Be available on nights, weekends, and holidays throughout our 36+ home game schedule.

  • Hold experience in a similar capacity.

  • Experience in sports and hockey is not mandatory, but highly preferred.

  • Must be an effective public speaker with experience in front of a live camera.

  • Experience reading and memorizing scripts quickly.

  • Must be able to walk and climb stairs for 3 hours.

  • Must have a voice that projects but sounds pleasant on a microphone.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Education - Associates Degree

Experience Required - 3-5 Year's
