Job Description
The Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) Assistant General Manager oversees and participates in the day-to-day operations of QSR at this single location. Reports directly to QSR General Manager and supervises the QSR staff in a player/coach type role.
  • Collaborates closely with the QSR General Manager on all aspects of management
  • Ensures guest experience standards are consistently met
  • Trains, motivates, evaluates, and recommend termination of employees as necessary
  • Documents, investigates, and resolves employee and guest incidents
  • Estimates food and beverage needs and requisitions or purchases food, beverage, supplies, and equipment; receives and checks orders to ensure that they adhere to specifications
  • Supervises cleaning and maintenance of equipment and counters according to Department of Health standards and arranges repairs, contracts, and other services when needed
  • Sends daily shift notes to the QSR General Manager
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned
  • Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
  • Ability to operate equipment such as manual espresso machine, drink blender, juicer and cash register

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of management and kitchen experience in counter-service or retail environment
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, motivational, and teambuilding skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Advanced proficiency in POS system (for example, Clover)
