Palm Health Resources is hiring an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Los Angeles, CA!

Seeking ongoing mix of weekday and weekend shifts, both mornings and nights, including holidays; minimum of of 4-6 shifts per month!Paid Mal Practice, Housing, Rental Car or Mileage, Flight/Travel and MUCH MORE!


Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Newborn and Infant Critical Care Unit is a Level IV, Over 50-bed intensive care unit designed to address the needs of critically ill infants.

Must have active CA license and Board Certified

Requires 2-3 years of Level IV experience

Mainly Day shifts, to include holidays and weekends

Weekday: 7a-7p (12hr shift); Weekend days & holidays: 7a-5p (10hr shift)

Weeknights: 5p-8a (15hr shift); Weekend nights: 3p-8a (17hr shift)

Minimum 4-6 shifts per month

Masters degree required

Job Type: Hourly Non-Inclusive

Procedures/Cases:

Newborn. Chest tube insertion and removal, cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen, lumbar puncture, needle aspiration of a pneumothorax, percutaneous insertion of central venous catheter, percutaneous radial artery catheterization & umbilical vessel catheterization.

Locums will not be a part of the transport team and not be needed for cryo

BLS, NRP, PALS required

Credentialing: 90-120 days

Orientation will be 3 days, M-W, once privileges are obtained.
