Job description

Terms of Employment.
Hours and location will vary based on district need and Substitute availability.
Purpose
Provides a wide variety of secretarial duties/functions as a support to the department/building. 
Qualifications
Requires 3-5 years experience as secretary/administrative assistant. Previous school secretarial experience preferred. Proven computer usage as could be obtained by 1-2 years of experience, including Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Power Point. Ability to successfully interact and build relationships with a variety of individuals, such as students, parents, staff, community members, etc., as evidenced by previous customer service experience. Flexibility to handle multiple tasks in a composed and timely manner. Ability to be a team member. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills  Attention to detail, problem solving and organizational skills required with the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as may be determined to be appropriate and acceptable.
