The following position is available for the 2026-2027 school year: Elementary Library Paraprofessional
Qualifications:
  • Able to work 5 days per week during the school year (approximately 25 hours per week)
  • Must have passed the ParaPro exam or be able to complete upon hire; OR
    • Completed 2 years of college in course work relevant to elementary education or library sciences; OR
    • Obtained an Associate's Degree or higher in a course of student relevant to elementary education or library sciences.

Requirements:
  • Willing to teach and direct library skills to elementary aged students.
  • Willing to learn and use library programs and Microsoft products.
  • Able to assist with shelving and checking in/out books/textbooks and equipment.
  • Able to work collaboratively with classroom teacher and other library staff members.
  • Must have the skill set to calmly work with student and staff needs.
