HUD Leasing Agent:


Full-time position

8:00 to 4:30


Must have minimum 1 year of HUD Section 8 and LIHTC experience.


 Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

Duties: Process all applications, move applicants into apartments, and marketing.

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may expand to include other duties and responsibilities based on business need.

• Assists the Property Manager with the ongoing leasing and administrative functions of the property.

• Prepare move-in files, take applications, answer telephone inquiries, greet, qualify, and show apartments to prospective residents.

• Process applications and input information into Yardi

• Conduct resident orientation.

Education/Experience


Requirements:


• High School/GED required; some college preferred.

• Experience in the property management industry preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.

• Must be highly enthusiastic, sales oriented, and love working with people.

• Low-income housing and tax credit experience a must.

• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook




Yardi software experience preferred.
