Job description

Starting pay: $19.50

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for the efficient cleaning, processing, and distribution of all linens, towels, uniforms, and laundry items used throughout the property. This role ensures all laundry is cleaned to company standards, properly sorted, folded, and stored, and supports the overall cleanliness and readiness of hotel and casino operations. 

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.  

  • Previous laundry, housekeeping, or cleaning experience preferred but not required.  

  • Ability to understand and follow instructions, safety guidelines, and equipment procedures.  

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify stains, damage, or quality issues.  

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  

  • Ability to obtain and maintain any required state gaming or regulatory licenses. 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift.  

  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 30 pounds and handle large bags or bundles of linens.  

  • Ability to work in warm, humid, or noisy environments due to laundry equipment.  

  • Ability to work in highrise hotel and casino environments using elevators, stairs, and service corridors.  

  • Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.  

  • Compliance with all company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements. 

  • Receive, sort, and process soiled linens, towels, and uniforms according to established procedures.  

  • Operate washers, dryers, folders, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.  

  • Inspect all items for stains, damage, or excessive wear and treat or report issues as needed.  

  • Fold, stack, and store clean laundry in designated areas to ensure availability for housekeeping and other departments.  

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room, equipment, and surrounding work areas.  

  • Follow all sanitation, safety, and chemicalhandling procedures including proper use of PPE.  

  • Monitor supply levels and notify leadership when restocking is needed.  

  • Communicate effectively with housekeeping and other departments to support smooth operations.  

  • Maintain a professional and positive attitude while working in a fastpaced environment.  

  • Perform additional duties or special assignments as required.
