Landscape Construction Foreman
OverLand Lawn & Landscape

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Role
We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated Landscape Construction Foreman to lead their crew on landscape installation projects. This position is responsible for leading and executing day-to-day landscape construction activities in the field, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within estimated labor hours, and to company quality standards.
Our projects range from complete new landscape installations and property transformations to irrigation systems, grading, drainage, retaining walls, planting, and other landscape improvements. The ideal candidate is a strong working leader who can keep projects moving, maintain high-quality workmanship, and work alongside their crew to get the job done right.
Responsibilities
• Lead by example as the working leader of a landscape construction crew
• Perform and assist with all aspects of landscape construction alongside the crew
• Read and interpret landscape plans, layouts, and project specifications
• Install and oversee landscape improvements including irrigation systems, grading, drainage, planting, sod, decorative rock, mulch, and related features
• Assist with hardscape and structural landscape features such as retaining walls, block walls, paver installations, edging, and similar projects
• Operate equipment including skid steers, mini excavators, trenchers, compact equipment, and other construction tools
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards
• Keep the crew productive and focused throughout the workday
• Train crew members on proper installation techniques, equipment operation, and job site safety
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site
• Track materials and communicate job site needs to management as necessary
• Identify field challenges and work with the crew to find practical solutions
• Help ensure projects are completed on schedule and within estimated labor hours
Qualifications
Previous landscape construction experience required
• Previous foreman or crew leadership experience preferred
• Experience with landscape installation, grading, irrigation, and general construction practices
• Ability to operate landscape construction equipment safely and efficiently
• Ability to read plans and execute projects accurately
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment up to 75 lbs
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Reliable transportation and strong punctuality
