Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape forman to lead our team in delivering high-quality landscape maintenance and enhancement services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This role requires hands-on involvement in various landscaping tasks while supervising a team of landscape professionals.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily landscaping and maintenance operations, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Lead the team in landscape maintenance activities, including lawn care, garden upkeep, and tree care.
Oversee the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure optimal water management for all landscaped areas.
Maintain groundskeeping standards by regularly inspecting properties for quality assurance and addressing any issues that arise.
Train and mentor team members on best practices in landscape maintenancetechniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
Build strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional quality service and addressing their landscaping needs effectively.
Experience
Proven experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping, with a strong understanding of horticulture principles. Experience in HOA properties.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience supervising teams in a landscaping or similar environment.
Familiarity with irrigation systems/comercial, lawn care practices, and tree and plan care techniques is essential.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience or some knowledge in job estimating, time tracking and materials.
Proven experience to operate, drive and haul equipment.
Excellent communication skills to interact positively with team members and clients alike.
English and Spanish is a plus.
Requirements:
Driver license

LCP certificate a plus
High school diploma (degree in horticulture recommended) or relevant certificate.
Knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscaping.
On-the-job training as a landscape crew member.
Experience in a leadership role would be advantageous.
Ability to provide clear written and verbal instructions.
Job Type: Full-time
