Job Description

LE Construction and Maintenance is looking to expand our dedicated team of professionals and is hiring for a permanent full time Landscape Constructions skilled worker.


General Duties and Expectations

  • Be dependable and reliable.
  • Be able to use mobile device and applications for communication and project tracking.
  • Have competency on manual and powered tools and equipment.
  • Have a strong ethic for health and safety compliance.
  • Be able to work in diverse weather conditions
  • Have experience in landscape construction.


Responsibilities

  • A skilled landscape construction worker is responsible for various tasks that involve both technical knowledge and physical labour in outdoor environments. Typical responsibilities include; site preparation, hardscape and softscape installations, planting of trees, flowers, and grasses, and equipment operations.
  • During the winter months, this position will be involved in snow removal activities, requiring the use of powered and non powered tools and equipment. 


Snow Removal Duties

  • On call 24/7 days a week, stay up to date with the weather forecasts.
  • Be able to operate backpack blowers, walk behind sweepings, and snow throwers.
  • Physical labour will be required.
  • Guaranteed hours during the winter season.


Experience:

  • Landscape Construction - 2 years (Preferred)
  • Experience in snow removal and operation of powered equipment (backpack blowers, snow throwers, walk behind sweepers


A Class 5 Drivers License is Required for this Position
