Job Title: Senior Accela Land Management Administrator
Location: Lawrenceville, GA 30046 (On-Site)
Job Type: Contract
Experience: 3-5 years
Duration: July - December 2026 (6 months)
Job Overview
Our client, a large county government IT department, is seeking a Senior Accela Land Management Administrator to join their Emerging Technologies and Digital Transformation team. This senior-level contractor will be responsible for administration, configuration, scripting, report writing, documentation, and end-user support of the Accela Automation SaaS platform and its modules including Citizen Access, Mobile Office, and GIS integration.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and customize applications, forms, workflows, and reports within the Accela platform
  • Create scripts and code (JavaScript, .NET, APIs) to extend Accela capabilities
  • Configure Accela modules (Civic Platform) and implement custom workflows using Accela Script and JavaScript
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Accela and third-party systems (GIS, payment gateways, ERP, Cashiering, SMS)
  • Use APIs and web services to enable secure, scalable data exchange with external systems
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues related to scripts, workflows, and integrations
  • Design, generate, and update Accela reports (Ad Hoc / SSRS)
  • Manage and maintain SQL Server databases within the Accela environment
  • Conduct Accela training for business teams as part of UAT and new project releases
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures
  • Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Required Skills
  • 3+ years of experience in Accela Automation, Configuration Management, and EMSE Scripting
  • Strong knowledge of OnPrem and Cloud Accela Platform
  • Accela Citizen Access, Mobile Office, Digital Plan Room, Automated Deployment
  • GIS integration experience
  • Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
  • JIRA, SharePoint, Visio, MS Office Suite, Teams, Power BI, GitHub, Postman, SSIS
  • SSRS / Accela Ad Hoc Reporting
  • Experience integrating Accela with Oracle Financials, SMS platforms, or similar systems
  • Prior experience working with government organizations
Preferred Skills
  • 3-5 years in Accela Administration and Construct API Integrations
  • Teller Cashiering Platform, Twilio SMS Messaging, SAP
  • Programming languages and application development processes
  • Project management principles
  • Accela Certification(s)
Location & Work Model
446 West Crogan St, Ste. 200, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. This is a fully on-site position - no telework. Hours: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM. No overtime except emergency after-hours/weekends/holidays.
Engagement Details
Contract duration: July - December 2026 (6 months). A public safety background check including criminal history and fingerprinting is required and may take up to 2 weeks to complete.
