Job description

Overview
Performs repetitive and complex laboratory analyses. Correlates and interprets laboratory data based on knowledge of physiological conditions affecting test results.
Qualifications
Education: Associates and/or Bachelors degree required. Certification from a nationally recognized credentialing agency, i.e., ASCP, AMT or AAB within 6 months of hire. Recertification is required every 3 years if certification was obtained on 1/1/2004 or after. Certification does not expire for individuals certified prior to 1/1/2004.
Experience: Experience as generalist or in designated discipline strongly preferred.
Additional Skills/Abilities: Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Must be able to maintain absolute confidentiality in the handling of patient information. Absolute integrity and accuracy in the identification and reporting of number and names.
