Job description

We are seeking an experienced jeweler/stone setter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fine jewelry craftsmanship and possess advanced skills in gemstone setting, ring sizing, soldering, and repair work. They should demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, the ability to work with various precious metals, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Responsibilities:
  • Set gemstones of various shapes and sizes into fine jewelry pieces using techniques such as prong, bezel, channel, and pave setting.
  • Perform precision stone setting, including invisible-set diamonds, to achieve flawless results.
  • Size rings accurately, both up and down, working with all precious metals including Platinum, Gold, White Gold, and Silver.
  • Maintain the highest level of craftsmanship and attention to detail in every stone-setting project while meeting company efficiency standards for order completion.
  • Possess soldering knowledge and demonstrate the ability to work with all metal types and solder flow temperatures.
  • Conduct repairs using a laser welder as needed, ensuring quality and durability.
  • Provide customers with an exceptional experience that exceeds their expectations, addressing any concerns or inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Learn and apply a variety of company policies and procedures related to jewelry crafting, repair protocols, and customer service standards.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a jeweler/stone setter, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in various gemstone setting techniques, including prong, bezel, channel, and pave setting.

  • Demonstrated ability to size rings accurately, working with different metals and adhering to industry standards.
