Job description

The Order Allocation Specialist is responsible for efficiently allocating inventory to new orders in High Jump WMS as instructed by the Merchandising team. This includes troubleshooting allocation errors, shortages, discrepancies, and facilitating communication between Procurement and Warehouse teams via email. Additionally, running reports to ensure clean and updated open order books, providing support to Warehouse teams on customer-specific order requirements, and maintaining organized records of past order communications for inventory and chargeback investigations are key responsibilities. The role may also entail other duties as requested by the department manager.
What You Will Do:
  • Promptly allocate inventory to new orders in High Jump WMS as given by the Merchandising team
  • Troubleshoot any allocation errors including shortages, inventory discrepancies, reworks and product transfers
  • Facilitate all communication via email between Procurement teams and Warehouse teams including product inquiries and transfers, rework requests, and shipment requirements
  • Run reports as needed to keep the open order books clean and up to date
  • Provide additional support and knowledge to Warehouse teams regarding customer specific order requirements (label placements, pallet requirements, shipping requirements)
  • Maintain organized record of past order communications to aid Inventory and Chargeback team investigations
  • Other duties and responsibilities as requested by the department manager

What We Are Looking For:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • 1+ year of warehouse or logistics experience preferred
  • Basic email etiquette in business setting
  • Proficient oral and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer skills, including but not limited to Google Workspace programs (Gmail, Drive, Sheets, Docs), and Warehouse Management Systems (High Jump/Warehouse Edge), keyboard and 10-key
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to maintain professionalism in difficult situations
  • Able to deal effectively with a diverse group of people

Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Experience in a global company
  • Multilingual a plus

Working Conditions
  • Environment: Office and Warehouse
  • Extreme Exposures: Some exposure to loud noises
  • Schedule: Typically requires regular office hours, but may occasionally be required to work nights and weekends

What we offer:
The hourly range for this position is $18.92 - $21.82 per hour. The base hourly rate may vary based on experience, role tenure, performance, industry, and location. Eligibility for the annual performance incentive may apply. Jazwares is a multi-state employer, so the salary range may not apply to other states.

Please note that this is a fully on-site position based out of our warehouse facility. Through Jazwares Cares, you will have the opportunity to volunteer for up to 16 hours a year on community service projects.
