Job description

IV Technician.

Join a respected medical clinic that has been serving patients for over 45 years. We are looking for an experienced IV Technician / Phlebotomist who enjoys working closely with patients and being part of a supportive healthcare team.
Unlike high-volume lab environments, this position allows you to spend meaningful time with patients while providing important wellness treatments. On average, you will work with 5-20 patients per day, allowing you to focus on quality care and patient experience.
This is a stable weekday position with no weekend work.
Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday.
  • 8 AM - 5 PM
  • 1-hour lunch break.
  • Day shift.
  • No weekends.

Pay:
  • $20 per hour.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform phlebotomy and assist with IV therapy treatments under physician supervision.
  • Mix and administer various IV treatments (training provided).
  • Assist patients with oxygen and oxygen multi-step therapy.
  • Monitor and record vital signs including pulse, blood pressure, weight, and temperature.
  • Answer patient questions regarding lab testing and test kits.
  • Assist the front office with patient calls and scheduling when needed.
  • Support physicians during appointments with scribing and documentation.

Qualifications:
  • Previous phlebotomy experience required.
  • Experience with IV therapy or strong venipuncture skills preferred.
  • Strong patient care and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a clinical environment.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.
  • Comfortable using computers including EHR systems.
