The KSE Information Technology (IT) Department provides a broad range of technology services supporting operations at the enterprise, business unit, department, event, and project levels within the company. The IT department focuses on building and maintaining a reliable and secure technology infrastructure while delivering quality services that are prompt, cost effective, and reliable.
Nature of Work:
  • Provides support for PC hardware, software, and network connectivity for end-users and also supports technical operations for events at KSE venues.
Examples of work performed:
  • Installs hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives on personal computers
  • Services printers and peripherals
  • Installs company-specified software packages such as operating systems, word processing, or spreadsheet programs, etc., onto computers
  • Verifies correct system operation within KSE policies and guidelines
  • Answers user questions in person and over the phone regarding system operations
  • Diagnoses and resolves problems involving operating systems, applications, networking, and computer hardware
  • Assists with network maintenance
  • Moves hardware to accommodate personnel changes and needs
  • Keeps abreast of new PC software and hardware product developments through self-study, technical conferences, courses and/or seminars
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Minimum
    • High school diploma or GED, required
    • 1 year experience working with maintaining personal computers and networks
    • Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
  • Preferred
    • 4 year college degree, preferred
    • Computer Repair Certification
    • 2 years experience working in a formal IT department
    • Competencies/Knowledge, Skills amp; Abilities
  • Adequate knowledge and skill to successfully diagnose and repair hardware or software problems regarding PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripheral devices
  • Understanding of network communications and security
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Able to provide advanced support for Microsoft Office applications
  • Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory services
  • Knowledge of Apple devices and operating systems
  • Knowledge of mobile technologies and devices

Compensation:
  • Base hourly rate $25.50 - $26.00 per hour
