FoxNews.com & FoxBusiness.com are looking for an experienced World Reporter to join our team. You have years of experience in journalism with an eye for breaking and compelling news to serve our audience. You "live and breathe" news, consuming content from a wide variety of international and domestic sources. You can write and produce several stories efficiently daily, covering global news of the day along with original and exclusive reporting that connects international events to a U.S. audience.

You will be offered the following shift:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM ET - 4:00 PM ET

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cover breaking news events across the globe, writing quickly and precisely to help solidify Fox News as the go-to site for developing international stories. Be on call for breaking world stories on the weekend.

  • Monitor and source international media, foreign government statements, and global wire services for stories that resonate with FoxNews.com's audience, aggregating with complete and proper attribution

  • Identify and elevate major global developments-including geopolitics, conflicts, economic shifts, and cultural flashpoints-with clear relevance to U.S. readers

  • Pursue original and exclusive international stories with strong headlines and angles in mind, working closely with overseas contacts, sources, and regional experts

  • Attend press conferences, briefings, and events (domestic or international) to report on global developments and their U.S. impact

  • Verify facts, sources, and information across multiple regions and languages to ensure accuracy and credibility in reporting

  • Collaborate with editors, producers, photographers, and fellow reporters to produce high-quality, timely global news coverage

  • Stay updated on international trends, foreign policy, and world events to pitch and pursue compelling, audience-focused story ideas

  • Meet deadlines and manage time effectively in a fast-paced newsroom covering multiple time zones

  • Adapt quickly to shifting global news priorities and contribute to breaking and developing stories at any hour as needed

  • Travel domestically and internationally to investigate, interview, fact-check, and report on original stories

  • Present all original and exclusive stories in an accessible, consistent, and compelling style for a broad digital audience

  • Arrive to work prepared with global story ideas, pitches, and headlines that align with Fox News Digital's editorial voice

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field of study is preferred, or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of experience covering news in a newsroom environment; international reporting experience strongly preferred

  • Author page with easily accessible bylines

  • Strong knowledge of AP style

  • A clear and crisp writing style with the ability to translate complex global issues into accessible reporting

  • A strong network of sources, including international contacts, foreign policy experts, or global correspondents

  • A firm grasp of current events with a particular focus on geopolitics, global conflicts, international economics, and foreign policy

  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and perform under pressure in a fast-paced newsroom

  • Flexibility to work holidays and maintain an "on-call" mentality for breaking international news across time zones

  • Experience working with international journalists, sources, and media outlets

  • Knowledge of developing SEO-focused content with a global lens

  • Ability to travel internationally and report from the field on short notice

  • Familiarity with foreign media ecosystems, translation tools, and sourcing from non-English outlets is a plus

  • Ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, NotebookLM) to accelerate research, fact-gathering, translation, and story framing in a fast-moving global news cycle. Photoshop and mobile video editing skills are a plus

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $102,000.00-115,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
