Position Summary:
We’re looking for a Personal Lines Insurance Representative who can balance both sales and service in a fast-paced, small agency environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, helping clients protect what matters most, and identifying opportunities to grow accounts through thoughtful recommendations.
You’ll work closely with clients on their home, auto, and personal insurance needs - providing a high level of service while also driving new business and account growth.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for personal lines clients, handling policy changes, billing questions, and coverage inquiries
  • Quote, sell, and bind new personal lines policies (home, auto, renters, umbrella, etc.)
  • Conduct coverage reviews and identify opportunities to round out accounts
  • Process endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and reinstatements
  • Follow up on leads, cross-sell to existing clients, and support overall agency sales goals
  • Build strong relationships through proactive communication and personalized service
  • Assist clients through the claims process, providing guidance and support
  • Support general agency operations and collaborate with team members as needed
Qualifications:
  • Active Property & Casualty license must be obtain upon hire
  • 1-3+ years of insurance experience preferred
  • Sales experience and comfort having coverage conversations with clients
  • Strong understanding of personal lines products (home, auto, renters, umbrella)
  • Experience with agency management systems (Guidewire, Salesforce, or similar) is a plus

  • Ability to balance sales and service responsibilities effectively
