What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a weekend insurance photographer, and why are they important?

To succeed as a Weekend Insurance Photographer, you need a solid understanding of photography techniques, attention to detail, and a valid driver’s license, often supported by prior experience in property or automotive photography. Familiarity with digital cameras, photo editing software, and insurance reporting platforms is typically required. Strong organizational skills, time management, and effective communication help you excel in coordinating site visits and delivering clear photographic evidence. Being proactive in confirming appointments and clear about deliverables can help prevent miscommunication and ensure timely, accurate submissions. This role may also involve uploading images to a secure portal and completing brief reports after each assignment.
