Description
The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the availability of infrastructure to support IT systems including servers, storage, telecommunications, and network components. This includes monitoring the operating environments; responding to incidents, problems and planning for growth. The IT Infrastructure Manager oversees the overall end-user system profile provisioning process across all platforms including logical and physical access. The individual will participate in all aspects of IT project execution and day-to-day IT functions including technical innovation, change control and documentation, technology service provider oversight, end-user support, system requirement definition and additional IT operational tasks that are part of the system's maintenance. The tasks will be performed with limited supervision and assistance. Occasional evening and weekend work will be required for project and support purposes.
Role and Responsibilities
Monitor and support of servers, storage, telecommunications, ERP and network systems
Monitor and support the production floor SCADA systems and access with 3rd party support
Manage the work of external vendors/resources as required to support IT infrastructure
Execute the IT change control process during the execution of critical IT system changes
Participating as required in the execution of IT infrastructure procedures
Participating as required in IT project requirement definition, solution research, validation, implementation and documentation
Develop and implement systems to automate IT tasks, enhance security, and prevent service interruptions
Act as tier-3 (senior level) IT support as required for local and remote users
Develop team and support staff
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications and Education Requirements
5-10 years of experience managing servers, storage, telecommunications, and network systems
3 or more years in SCADA manufacturing systems, MES and PLC networks
3 or more years supporting Office 365 and Windows Defender
3 or more years supporting and managing virtual server/desktops in VMWare or like system
3 or more years of experience managing systems in a large enterprise
3 or more years managing IT operations and infrastructure related teams
Experience supporting and developing systems to work in a temperature-controlled environment
SQL server data management and maintenance plan execution
Bachelor's degree in computer technology related program or equivalent experience
Experience successfully managing projects with little to no supervision
Ability to appropriately prioritize support needs and delegate where appropriate
Experiencing managing a combination of on-prem, hosted, and cloud-based systems
Desire to continually learn new technologies and improve skill set
Strong verbal, written, telephone and public relations skills

Technical support/Help Desk and carry out tasks defined in the Help Ticket Tracking system
Remains current on advances in technology
Develop and test disaster recovery plans
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
The work environment alternates between a cold production setting with concrete floors and an office. This position requires the team member to:
Sit for an extended period at a computer.
Stand and walk through the production floor and endure cold temperatures (38 degrees)
Must occasionally lift/move up to 40 lbs.

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $130,000 annually. This range reflects our good faith estimate at the time of posting. Depending on experience and qualifications, we may offer compensation above this range.
