Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead & Supervise Nursing Staff - Manage daily staffing needs, ensuring adequate coverage and quality resident care.
  • Staff Development & Training - Assist in ongoing education, ensuring all staff are equipped to provide exceptional care.
  • Direct Resident Care - Provide hands-on nursing care, ensuring residents' medical needs are met in accordance with individualized care plans.
  • Resident Assessments - Conduct and document comprehensive evaluations upon admission and throughout their stay.
  • Treatment Planning & Compliance - Assist in developing and implementing personalized treatment plans while ensuring adherence to resident rights and facility policies.
  • Recruit & Retain Nursing Talent - Play a key role in the hiring and retention of skilled nursing professionals.
  • Conflict Resolution & Advocacy - Address concerns from residents and families, ensuring grievances are handled professionally and effectively.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement - Implement new ideas, enhance processes, and support a positive, results-driven management team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum 3 years of nursing experience (preferred in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a similar setting).
