Cardiovascular Technologist Position Summary
The primary function of a Cardiovascular Tech is to assist with care of patients undergoing diagnostic and/or interventional cardiology procedures.
Cardiovascular Technologist Position Requirements
  • Licensure as a Registered Radiology Technologist in the State of Delaware.
  • Graduate of an approved school of radiology.
  • Prefer one-year experience in cardiovascular non-invasive and invasive procedures.
  • ACLS certification within 18 months of hire.
  • Must maintain BLS and ACLS competency every two years.
Cardiovascular Technologist Schedule
  • Demonstrates personal responsibility for maintaining a satisfactory attendance record.
  • Work schedule as required for daily operation of lab.
  • On call rotation.
  • Rotational coverage of holidays; both scheduled to work and on-call duties.
  • Expected to work overtime and/or additional weekends in times of staffing shortages and emergencies.
  • Expected to respond in the event of a disaster.
