Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapy
$20,000 SIGN-ON BONUS !!!
Full-time, Weekend Only, Third shift
**This full-time weekend position requires working every Saturday and Sunday, plus either Friday or Monday each week.
25% Weekend differential
15% shift differential
Job Description:
The respiratory therapist assesses, treats, and monitors patients with respiratory diseases and conditions. This includes the delivery of medicated and non-medicated therapy as ordered by the provider. Additionally, therapists provide invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilator support for acute respiratory failure. As part of patient assessment and management, the therapist performs diagnostic test procedures. In addition, therapist assists in departmental operations by addicting with quality improvement projects, equipment, and supplies. The certified therapist follows all applicable rules and regulations established by the licensure board depending on the state in which respiratory therapy is practiced.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited respiratory therapy program required.
  • Current Kentucky Respiratory Care license required.
  • Registered Respiratory therapist (RRT) OR Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy preferred.
