Job Description:

As a Crew Lead, you’re responsible for overseeing and managing the cleaning, drying, and remediating of houses and buildings damaged by fire, water, smoke, and mold under the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) standards. Our primary coverage area is Central Maryland and the Baltimore Metro areas. We routinely serve in Baltimore City, Baltimore, Carroll, Howard, Frederick, Montgomery, and Anne Arundel counties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, supervise, and work alongside crew members on water mitigation, fire/smoke cleanup, mold remediation, and other restoration projects.
  • Coordinate daily tasks and ensure crew safety and productivity.
  • Communicate effectively with customers.
  • Ensure jobs are completed according to scope, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Document job progress through scope sheets, notes, photos, moisture readings, and digital systems.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment and supplies on job sites.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols.
  • Train and mentor technicians and new crew members.
  • Assist in maintaining company vehicles and tools in clean and working condition.
  • Respond to emergency calls after hours and on weekends, as needed (rotating schedule).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of field experience in mitigation.
  • Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
  • At least IICRC WRT certification (Required).
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds, work in confined spaces, and perform physical labor.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Pass a background check.
  • Comfortable with technology and mobile job management app
  • The candidate must have no issues with consistent standing, moving, and lifting.
  • This is a full-time position with rotational on-call.
  • We are an emergency response company, and the candidate should expect overtime, after-hours, and weekend shifts to be required on an "as-needed" and rotating basis.
  • Candidate must have a valid driver's license to drive company vehicles.

Pay Range: $25.00- $32.00
